Was wondering if anyone was still taking this. I did a search and could hardly find anything about it. Someone did say that it really only works for people with thyroid problems, and he also said that you can buy the same product locally by Solar Ray. I have used Solar Ray products before and I liked them. Anyway would love to hear from anyone.

Hello SheeSpy, I got caught out by that other products are the same as Laminaria Extract rubbish. And I don't have a thyroid problem, I was just overweight and it worked great with me and other people I know who also don't have thyroid problems.

Before I bought Laminaria Extract I read articles on the NET and there were a few that promised the same results and also people saying other products worked the same. So I tried the other products to save a few bucks and it only ended up costing me a load more because I still had to buy the real Laminaria Extract from Nature's Way.

The odd thing is, why would someone say some other product is as good as Laminaria Extract because if I'd have bought Laminaria Extract in the first place I wouldn't have needed to try any other pills. Seems to me like these people are trying to con us.

My advise has one who has been conned is buy the original Laminaria Extract from Nature's Way.

Hi Natalie and welcome SheeSpy.

I have to thank Natalie for telling me about laminaria extract I'm doing really well on it I had been looking for an all natural diet pill and wasn't sure if there was one that would do the job. Nature's Way Laminaria Extract works, I don't know why or how, it just does. You can try the imitations if you like but you will be just wasting money. The Nature's Way web site has a statement at the bottom of the page which says that there are imitations on the market and to be aware.

I am with Natalie on this, buy the original, it's not expensive and it works.

I have heard so many good things about the Laminara products. Also for anyone that is interested a woman has posted a good site about her success with it at (web site addresses not allowed)the-diet-pills.com. She also talks about her usage of other diet pills.

I just ordered some of the natures way laminara two days ago, and I am excited to recieve it but cant help feeling a little bit skeptical. But hearing from people on here, who arent just trying to sell something is reasuring.

I'd love to hear anymore comments that anyone has about the product or any others.

Do you think that you would have to keep ordering the product, or could you discontinue use when you reach your desired weight? Is there a maximum amount you can lose? Did all of you also mix it with a changed diet and excericise or no??

I've never really believed in things like this, and that they can work. I've always been an active person and believed in eating right and good excercise etc. However after my first year of University, all of this seemed to slip downt he drain, and I am not even motivated to go the gym right now because I am to embarrassed about how I look. If this really works, I think it can help me regain the confidence I used to have. I will keep all of you updated with my success one mine arrive!!

I first ordered laminaria extract from natures way about 2 years ago, tried it for 2 weeks and only lost 4 pounds so I sent it back for a refund. Then about a year ago a friend of mine lost a load of weight really quickly at first she wouldn't tell us her secret. She lost something like 35 pounds in 6 or so weeks. We were all amazed and kept on at her. Eventually she told us she had used these pills, laminaria extract. So I ordered some more as did a few of my other friends and again only lost a few pounds in the first few weeks but this time I kept with it and sure enough the weight started to drop off, i just gave up too quickly the first time. I used the pills for 3 months and lost 42 pounds, which was a little less than I wanted to lose, i was aiming for 48 pounds. I now jog everyday and have become a real fitness freak, which has transformed my life. I had no side effects with the pills, and neither did any of my friends.

hi i been reading about laminaria exract and i have a question does it work if you only have a few pounds to lose like 5.or so . i have a few pound left after having a baby that i cant seem to get rid of.i hat to spend the 29.00 plus shipping charges if it isnt worth it for a few pounds .

Im sure that you would need to excersise and eat well..... im sure thats how you all lost weight, i used Proenzie 99 a few yrs back and it worked and i didn't have to do much

but does this really work?? I have gone on so many diets including Xenical and i had too many side effects that it stopped me from eating food with too much oil and that didn't last long either. Please adive

Gosh, I'm amazed at all the dis-information that seems to be going around about Laminaria Extract. Neither me or my mother have a thyroid problem and we did not excersise or go on a diet to lose weight. There is no diet plan with these pills, they just work. I would also suggest you'd lose those few pounds that you've put on from your pregnancy.

Nature's Way Laminaria Extract are great and I am thankfull to them for what they have done for me.

I found this site 6 weeks ago and ordered the Laminaria extract pills from nature's way online. After what everyone was saying i just had to find out for myself. No one I know had ever heard of these pills but I still thought I'd give them ago. Oh My God, how wonderful is this stuff, no side effects, no diet plan, no exersise, just one pill with your breakfast and the miracle starts. Eventually. I actually lost nothing in the first 3 weeks and was about to send them back for a refund but decided to keep with them.

Over the past 3 weeks I have lost 24 pounds, I am really happy and want to thank all the people who have added to this site and told me about these diet pills.

Im so happy by what everyone has said. I just cant wait to get my package. I keep checking the mail every single day in hopes that it will be here. When they say 3 -14 days, I really hope it won't be that long. I was still so skeptical, and now more and more results from all of you have got be so hopeful, and I am looking forward to this soo much.

Can anyone tell me, Do you think you should keep staying on the pills even after you have lost the weight?

Do you just maintain your naturaly weight then or would you keep losing weight?

I wouldnt want to just put all the weight back on again once I stopped, and dont want to be dependent on diet pills for the rest of my life. Any insight?? Ill be happy to hear it.

I forgot the one other thing I wanted to ask. Its a little off topic but I am hoping that some of you might have suggestions, and i thought it would be a good place to start.

Does anyone know of a good product that eliminates stretch marks??

I watched a program on UK Living about diet products and the natures way laminaria extract slimming pills were on it. They were interviewing an American physical training officer from the US Marines and he was saying that they put overweight new recruits on these pills, they sounded really good. I have ordered some so I'll let you know if they worked for me.

Well, tomorrow will mark my second week with Laminara, and nothing!

I know some people have said that it took a while for the weight loss to start, but this is depressing! I was expecting much quicker results I guess, and I have even followed what they said, to drink lots of water, and even have cut something out of my diet. I guess I will keep it up for a while,.. wish me luck!

Any Advice??

Canadaingirl, I came accross web site the other day from a woman called Mary who has done a running documentry style site on her experiences with diet pills. It's very funny in places but also very sad and it's well written and makes very enjoyable reading.

She has been using Laminaria Extract for several months and lost a ton of weight. She has had a lot of letters from other Laminaria Extract users and believes something like 1 in every hundred will find Laminaria will not work for them, so it's 99% effective, which is very good. She also said users results varied to how quick the pills worked and that seems to be re-itterated in comments made here also.

So be patient, thats the only advice I can think of.

My laminaria pills arrived last week and I have been on them for 4 days and lost 5 pounds. I am so amazed, I just thought I would give them a go because of what I had heard people saying about them. I have tried so many diffrent things, even the atkins diet and nothing has worked like this. Even though i've still got another 14 pounds to lose I feel so slim and healthy, even my finger nails and hair looks better. These really are miracle pills.

Canadaingirl, just stick with it, they really do work.
